The Federal Ministry of Science Technology (FMST) in collaboration with the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) will be conducting a workshop tagged: “Promotion of Safety Practices on Utilization of Herbicides/Pesticides to Enhance Food Safety and Security in Nigeria”.

Over the years, data collated on agricultural produce had shown contamination due to residues from these chemicals.

Therefore, relevant stakeholders are enjoined to leverage on this workshop for proper awareness on food safety.

The first phase of the workshop holds as follows:
