Objective:
The training work shop is designed to expose participants to the techniques of maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment involving the use of sophisticated fault detection and diagnostic methods. This is a hand-on practical training for instrument technologists who are mostly in the biological laboratory. Participants will be exposed to maintenance skills required to keep the equipment functional. The participants shall be exposed to preventive maintenance troubleshooting, repairs, selection and procurement of appropriate spare parts, professional and technical skills of handling equipment and safety techniques in equipment maintenance
