EDITOR’S COMMENT
The Journal of Laboratory Science (JLS) is an international journal sponsored by Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT), Federal Ministry of Science and Technology.
JLS is floated with the mandate and vision of providing a platform for publication of results and review in the areas of Science and Technology as well as promoting the position of Science and Technology in the local and international community.
The JLS, a peer - reviewed publication, is an annual publication with two issues per volume and with an Editorial Advisory Board constituted by eminent scientist and researchers spread across the globe.
I wish to appreciate the members of the Editorial Board, most especially the Associate Editor, Mr. J. I. Osuh for their cooperation, hard work, patience and commitment.  The great contributions of the secretariat staff, Mrs O. O. Odu and Mr. J. Eidangbe, are also appreciated.
Let me use this medium to thank our highly respectable reviewers and other contributors for their invaluable contributions to the maiden edition of this journal.
