APPLICATION FOR PART-TIME POSITION OF LECTURING OF NISLT FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME

APPLICATION FOR PART-TIME POSITION OF LECTURING OF NISLT FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME

The Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) was established by Act 12 of 2003 of the National Assembly and made a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology. The Institute was hitherto known as the Nigerian Institute of Science Technology (NIST) founded in 1971 saddled with responsibility of “advancing science laboratory technology profession and ensure through its registered members effective and efficient management and administration of science laboratories in Nigeria”.

The NISLT recently undergone series of reforms in its various training programmes to meet the members’ needs and global challenges.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions of Part-time lecturer/facilitator for NISLT fellowship programme. The courses to be taught are:

· Advanced Research Methodology

· Advanced General Laboratory Technique and Laboratory Management

· Advanced Statistical Methods

· Information Communication Technology in SLT Research

· Entrepreneurship Studies/Laboratory Business Law/Science Technology and Innovation

· Research Seminar

Candidates applying for the positions must possess minimum of a Master degree in relevant field from reputable University with adequate computer application knowledge. The candidates should hold at least two (2) relevant local/international publications. Possession of PhD/Fellowship of NISLT and background in SLT will be an added advantage. Suitable candidates should be familiar with online lecture delivery on different platforms.

(ix.) Number of Children and their Ages.

(x.) Institutions attended with dates.

(xi.) Academic/Professional qualifications and distinctions obtained with dates (attach copies of credentials).

(xii.) Work Experience with dates.

(xiii.) Present Employment, Status and Salary (if any).

(xiv.) Research interests and activities

(xv.) Conference/courses attended (state titles of papers presented if any).

(xvi.) Professional accomplishment.

(xvii.) Publications with date.

(xviii.) Service to national and international bodies.

(xix.) Extra Curricular Activities.

(xx.) Any physical challenge?
