The Management of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) is pleased to announce the schedule for the March and October 2025 Diets of the Mandatory Professional Examination (MPE).

This examination is open to graduates (external candidates) and students (internal candidates) of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) from Universities and Polytechnics, facilitating their registration for Associate Membership of the Institute.

Examination Details

The March and October 2025 Diets will include:

• Module I
• Resit I
• Module II
• Resit II

Note: Only candidates who pass the Module I examination will be eligible to register for the Module II examination.

Registration Process

External Candidates:

• Begin your registration here.
• Complete the form, attach the required documents, and pay the necessary fees.
• Upon approval, you will receive login credentials for further registration (e.g., for Module I) and the ability to select your preferred examination center.

Internal Candidates:

• Students in 400L & 500L (Universities) or HND I & HND II (Polytechnics) should register through their respective Deans or Heads of Department (HODs).

Examination Schedule

• March 2025 Diet: 25th & 26th March 2025
• October 2025 Diet: 14th & 15th October 2025
• Examinations will take place at various centers across the country.
