As you may recall that Membership online revalidation was presented at different fora organized by NISLT, the Governing Council at its 26th Council Meeting held on 4th October 2019 approved the commencement of the revalidation for NISLT Members.
Our intention was to commence the revalidation with the Governing Council Members but due to the lockdown occasioned by COVID-19 pandemic, this was not feasible. Hence, approval was given by the Council Chairman on the 23rd June 2020 upon Management request to open it up to all Members.
The process will allow up-to-date Members to maintain their professional registration, build on the existing renewal requirements and also provide accurate and reliable data on membership.
Members will be responsible for their own revalidation and ensure that all necessary requirements are attached for confirmation.
The requirements include:
- Relevant academic certificates
- Professional Certificates
- Passport photograph
The revalidation is free of charge and mandatory for all members.
Commencement date: 21st July 2020.
