Journal of Laboratory Science is an official publication of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology. It provides platform for professionals in the field of Science and Technology to publish their research works/results of scientific breakthrough and findings in print. It is a high quality, peer reviewed and bi-annual research journal. In view of this, papers re invited in all areas of:

MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION

New Deadline for manuscript submission due to COVID -19 pandemic for volume 8 Issue 1 is now 31st, October, 2020; this Edition will be published in December, 2020 while the next Edition will be in July, 2021.

PROCESSING & PUBLICATION CHARGES

Submitted paper(s) must specify a corresponding author with whom the Editor communicates development on the paper (s), as it moves through the JLS peer review system. JLS uses a doubles-blind review system in which the authors and reviewers do not know one another. Papers that fails editorial review in terms of contribution to knowledge or originality will be sent back to authors or rejected. In case of non-compliance with recommendations in the guide for authors, the manuscript will be sent back to the corresponding author for modification.

Authors must pay N5,000 as review fee at the point of paper submission.

Author should follow the steps below for payments;

(i)                   Open www.remita.net

(ii)                 Click on " pay FGN and State TSA"

(iii)                Select "Federal Government of Nigeria"

(iv)                Complete the form:

(a)      " WHO DO YOU WANT TO PAY TO" write "Nigeria Institute of Science Laboratory Technology"

(b)     "NAME OF SERVICE/PURPOSE" Select "JOURNAL"

(c)      "Complete the required details in column 3 to 8.

(d) "HOW DO YOU WANT TO PAY?" Select "BANK BRANCH"

 (v)     Generate your RRR no. and make payment in any commercial bank.  

 (vi)   Attach a copy of the receipt of payment with your paper when submitting for publication.

Once the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors are required to pay non-refundable publication fee of N15,000 through the same process above.
