The Management of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) wishes to announce the schedule for the October and December 2023 Diets of Mandatory Professional Examination (MPE). This is open to both graduates(external candidates) and students(internal candidates) of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) from Universities and Polytechnics for the purpose of Associate membership of the Institute.

The registration portal will be open from August 21, 2023 to September 8, 2023. External candidates (graduates of SLT) are to apply online through the url: NISLT :: Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology while the internal candidates (students of SLT) are to apply through their respective Heads of Department.

October 2023 diet is for Module I examination while December 2023 diet is for Module II examination. Candidates that failed any paper in Module I of March 2023 diet will register for the resit examination of October 2023 diet while those who passed Module I examination of March 2023 diet would write Module II examinations in December 2023.

Intending external candidates who are yet to enroll into the program should first pay for the expression of interest form through the website, fill and submit the MPE form online. If approved, the candidate can then proceed to register for the Module I examination. For candidates already in the program, they are only expected to login to their portal and register for either Module II examination (for December 2023 diet) or Resit examination (depending on the paper the candidate failed).

The MPE October 2023 Diet examination is scheduled to hold on 10th and 11th October 2023 while December diet will hold on 5th and 6th December, 2023.
