The attention of the Institute has being drawn to the activity of a fraudster impersonating the DG/Registrar/CEO of the Institute by using his name and pictures from the Institute website. The impostor has been  making ridiculous and scandalous demands from unsuspecting members and staff of the Institute through LinkedIn and WhatsApp messages. The fraudster uses the phone no 07038768133 on WhatsApp.

Federal Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, esteemed Members of the Institute, staff and general public are hereby advised to ignore any of such messages from the fraudster as it did not emanate from the DG/Registrar/CEO of Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology and to immediately block and report the number/profile.

It is pertinent to note that the DG is NOT on LinkedIn.

Anyone who does any business with the said scammer does so at his or her own risk.
